We belong in relationship with the living world.

FIeld notes on Oklahoma ecology, conservation, and the deep connections between people and the landscapes we share.

Red Earth Reverence has grown out of the work I began through Oklahoma Wildflower Market, a project focused on native plants and pollinator habitat. As my health has changed, this work has evolved into a field-based journal devoted to ecological education, conservation, and our relationship with the living world. Here you’ll find resources on Oklahoma wildflowers, wildlife, habitat gardening, and practices that help reconnect people with nature.

These videos offer small windows into the living landscapes, plants, and wildlife of Oklahoma. Through observation and storytelling, they explore conservation, nature connection, and the living relationships that shape our shared home.

We belong in relationship with the living world…

not as observers standing apart, but as participants woven into soil, season, and breath.

Your support helps sustain this work and keep it freely accessible to all Oklahomans.

Red Earth Reverence is created and maintained by a single field naturalist and ecological writer working with the realities of chronic illness and disability. Donations help provide financial support that makes it possible to continue researching, writing, photographing, illustrating, and maintaining the educational resources shared here.

Your support allows this work to remain freely accessible to anyone who wants to learn more about Oklahoma’s native plants, wildlife, and ecosystems. By contributing, you help sustain a growing library of ecological knowledge while supporting a disabled creator dedicated to the land and community we share.

Together, we can continue learning from the land and caring for the ecosystems that sustain us.
